Back to the Start
This is what I wore while I was away having lunch with old friends, doing errands and when I found out I was going to work as a charge nurse, which I eventually had to give up due to its inflexible work schedule. Oh well, such is life. Also, I was told by my mom that she used to rock this look back in the day. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not.
What I’m wearing: Thrifted soft denim long sleeved shirt, t-shirt (Oxygen), trousers (People are People), boat shoes (Converse), bag (Regatta). Hype this on Lookbook.

Spearmint

This is what I wore to some family event on the beach today. Since it was very gloomy and windy, I decided to put on a sweater and paired it with slip-on sandals and my favorite pair of thrifted shorts. Sunglasses were unnecessary since the clouds did all the sun-blocking for me. Basically all I did was sit on a lounge chair and read one of my dad’s amazing old books, which I will talk about more extensively in another post.

What I’m wearing: Sweater (Zara), T-shirt (Artwork), Thrifted Brown Shorts, Sandals (Bass), Eyeglasses (Ray-ban).

And I Was A Boy From School
What I wore to Grad School today. I took out my very old long sleeved shirt for a spin albeit the hot weather we had here. Actually, wearing it made me feel cooler. Also, I love the system at my new school. It’s modular, so it’s very convenient for me—I go to school, get the modules, answer everything at home or at school, go back in a week’s time and you’re on to the next module until the semester ends. It’s like a lazy man’s grad school, which is fine by me!
What I’m Wearing: Year old long sleeved Shirt (Maldita Man), Denim Pants (Penshoppe), Boat Shoes (Converse), Watch (Unlisted by Kenneth Cole), Eye Glasses (Ray-Ban), My old school bag (Marithé + François Girbaud).

Back To Basics
This look was greatly inspired from all the old family photos that were taken during the late 80’s. This is how my parents and relatives would literally dress up. Their style back in the day had a very effortless comfort to it, which I absolutely love. Also, I finally got a haircut. As you can see, my hair is super short now.
What I’m Wearing: teal stretch t-shirt (GAP), brown belt (Arrow), thrifted khaki shorts, canvas shoes (Vans), wayfarers (Ray-Ban).

Port Side
This is what I wore to the beach last sunday. It was a little homage to my dad since half of what I was wearing was previously owned by him.
What I’m wearing: T-Shirt from Oxygen, Denim shorts and belt are from my dad (I had the shorts altered to make them more narrower. The shorts are older than me, by the way), Boat shoes from Converse, and the Aviator shades were given to me by Ellene from her trip to New York.

Norwegian Wood

This look was immensely inspired by Haruki Murakami’s Norwegian Wood. I’ve been getting a lot of Toru Watanabe vibes after reading the book. It’s like 1969 all over again. At least that’s how I feel right now. This look features my dad’s Vintage Yves Saint Laurent button down long sleeved shirt, my black leather lace-up Zara shoes and my good old cardigan. And thank you to my amazing little brother for taking this photograph.
