SMDC Presents Chris Diaz, Lizzane Cua & Eric Delos Santos Spring/Summer 2012
These are some of the photos I took at the SMDC show featuring Chris Diaz, Lizanne Cua and Eric Delos Santos. It had a very posh cocktail party before the show started which is always a good thing. So I was literally in the middle of all the beautiful fashion chaos that night. The photos below are some of my favorite looks and highlights from the shows.
CHRIS DIAZ
I love the fringe, the shells, the flowers and the colors. It had touches of Native American Influences without taking it too far. It wasn’t as perfect as I hoped for it to be, since the entire collection wasn’t really at par with the intro video, which was super high fashion.
LIZANNE CUA
I’ve never seen this much jersey in my entire life. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it as well. I really don’t mind the use of jersey, for as long as it was used in an unexpected or in a more innovative way. But to be fair, there were a few stand outs. I just wish it was more daring and cutting edge.
ERIC DELOS SANTOS
This collection was edgy and ladylike at the same time. The clothes were very empowering. If goddesses walked down on earth, they won’t mind wearing an ensemble from this collection.
And of course, Anne Curtis’ appearance is always a welcome sight.
