Hovering above Shanghai. We were only there for our connecting flight to Singapore. However, the view outside my window seat was more than enough. Seeing other parts of the world was more than enough.

Out in the Woods.
This was inside The Huaqing Hot Springs. At first I thought we need to whip out our swimming shorts for this. It was perfect that we’re going to a hot spring on a really cold autumn day. But I was wrong. This was actually a series of old bathhouses used by various Chinese emperors spanning 3 millennia. A mountain rest house if you will. Of course you can’t take a dip since it had to be preserved. Nonetheless it was very beautiful and scenic. Plus I learned a lot of Chinese History while we were there. It was great geeky fun, at least for me.
